Re:  Allotment of shares against exercise of Employees Stock Options

We have to inform you that pursuant to the Resolution passed by Circular dated
September 29, 2005, by the Shareholders/Investors Grievance Committee,


9,350 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2000,

6,786 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2001

11,100 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2002.

30,250 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2003, and



Consequently, the paid up Share Capital of the Company has increased from
18,30,31,595 shares to 18,30,89,081 shares of Rs.10/- face value, as of date.
