At long last - HHSE Access to S.E.C. Edgar is fully restored!
Greetings & Happy New Year to our HHSE Friends & Followers - Perhaps it's a brilliant strategy to stop hackers and unauthorized access? But the hoops that the S.E.C. Edgar Department requires of issuers / filers to regain access to an account is more complicated than a Dan Brown book plot. The procedures were navigated in November / early December... only to have to be re-created from scratch once again in mid-December (until TODAY) in order to have access authorized for a third party XBRL & Filing services provider. But it got done... and the November Form 8 was finally accepted by the Edgar publication desk. We also updated the company address and some additional listings information today - both of which items will go "live" tonight (according to the automated message from the Edgar help desk).

Now that we've cleared the S.E.C. Edgar hurdle, we can resume filing the documents that support the company's UPLIST application to OTC: QB - which many feel will be the beginning of VERY BIG things for Hannover House shareholders.

In other news, the Wyoming annual corporate taxes and filings were also completed. Every year for the past twelve years, our status shows as "delinquent" during the first week of January... yet, prepayment and filing early is not an option prior to mid-December (and even then, a filing made Dec. 15 will STILL show as delinquent UNTIL such time that the super-busy Wyoming Secretary of State team processes the documents). So, it's all good... even though it may still show as delinquent for a few more days.

The factors that have kept the HHSE stock depressed these past few months are all fading away as we move into our OTC:QB uplist and a terrific 2024!

5). OTCQB UPLIST - Yes, still awaiting final audit opinion, but are otherwise ready to submit. There will be no advanced warning at this point. We will publish the OTC:QB documents as soon as the final audit opinion is provided. Could be any day, any moment. As mentioned before, conforming all of our assets, balance sheet items, payables, receivables and contracts is hardest "the first time" - and then these are established assumption items for all subsequent financial reports.

Eric Parkinson (HHSE CEO) was Hemdale CEO:

Born December 15, 1958 · Wichita, Kansas, USA
Height 6' 2? (1.88 m)

Mini Bio

Parkinson is known within the industry primarily for his film marketing and distribution skills, especially with respect to the U.S. Home Video Market. As a film distributor, he has handled the release of over 1,500 titles, including major hits such as "The Terminator", "Little Nemo" and "Highlander 2". During Parkinson's tenure as C.E.O. of Hemdale - a major independent production & distribution company - he earned over 100 RIAA / ITA Gold or Platinum Best Selling video awards, with 8 titles hitting # 1 on the Billboard video charts. As Hemdale Studio CEO, he has studio honorary credit behind the Best Picture Oscar winners, "Platoon" and "The Last Emperor." Schooled primarily in film production (University of Kansas and later at the University of Arkansas), Parkinson is also a skilled filmmaker, with extensive production credits, and a directorial (feature) debut ("Wildfire" just completed with a nationwide USA theatrical release set for late summer, 2024). Parkinson is currently directing and co-starring in the historic western epic, "Indian Territory."

As C.E.O. of Hemdale, Parkinson was responsible for paying off over $58-million in corporate debt that the company was carrying prior to his engagement - as well as the placement of the company's impressive film library within the MGM-UA family of companies. In 2002, he purchased Truman Press, Inc. d/b/a "Hannover House" and added DVD products to the book publishing line.

As of 2010, "Hannover House" was merged to become a publicly traded company (symbol OTC: HHSE). Parkinson has been the CEO of Hannover House since 2002. Hannover House has released over 450 titles to the DVD market during its first 20 years in the home media sector... and recently the company began to refocus efforts towards the release of theatrical feature films as the DVD business for independent titles grew increasingly competitive. The company has aligned some aspects of home video, streaming and television product distribution through major studio partners, but maintains its direct access to the major theatre circuits in North America.

Parkinson is active as a Producer and Executive Producer of films, with current projects ranging from the $500,000 budget for Wildfire to the $15-mm budget for the upcoming action-comedy feature, Meltdown; Parkinson is also developing a high-profile, live-action family fantasy feature for production in Autumn, 2024, planned for production in Malta.

An overview of How the SMART distributors are MAKING MONEY in the Film-Distribution Business

Greetings HHSE Friends & Followers - I was surprised to get some emails on Saturday from some HHSE shareholders that were lamenting that the 20-theatre opening weekend launch for UNHOLY SONG "only grossed $7,000" on the opening day.

Well, let me clarify several key issues that may have NOT been clearly communicated in our prior blogs.

1). BOX OFFICE RESULTS ARE IRRELEVANT TO OUR MARKETING GOAL - Our mission has been to enhance the visibility and awareness of the property... so if it sells some tickets, GREAT, but that was not the goal of a limited theatrical release. The point was to ENHANCE THE PROFILE of the movie so that it will be eligible for PRIORITY PLACEMENT onto TUBI, ROKU and AMAZON - all of which have a "theatrical release" preference for creating priority placements. THE MONEY IN THIS INDUSTRY IS BEING MADE VIA STREAMING SERVICES - not via Theatrical (unless you have a mega budget hit). When was the last time you went to a movie theatre... versus... the last time you STREAMED something to your home?

2). WHILE $7,000 grosses on a FRIDAY might sound small... it indicates that the film will likely hit $20,000 this weekend WHICH IS WHAT WE SPENT IN THEATRICAL MARKETING. So in only three days, we GROSS back the total P&A expenditure... PLUS we have now enhanced the credibility of the movie for PRIORITY V.O.D. support. NOT THAT IT MATTERS... but our "Per Screen" average on Friday of $355 makes the movie the NUMBER SEVEN best seller of tickets per location out of ALL Movies!! We will PROBABLY end up with about $1,000 "per screen" average... and likely in the TOP TEN on this per-screen basis.

3). BECAUSE OF THE THEATRICAL RELEASE - this title is now eligible for DVD and Blu-Ray sales at WALMART, TARGET and BEST BUY. These major retailers have found that INDIE films in key genre's WILL SELL WELL in pre-recorded, packaged goods formats... and we have now MET that condition (FYI, the genre's are HORROR, FAMILY, and CHRISTIAN appeal movies).

4). WE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO LAUNCH ON 300+ Screens - but decided that this would not be as ASSURED of a good return-on-investment. You see, 300 screens would cost the company about $250,000 in total costs... but would NOT generate a 10-X greater return from streaming than our initial launch with 20 screens (and a few more locations for UNHOLY SONG during March).

TWENTY theatres and $20k in launch costs is the SWEET SPOT to maximize R.O.I. Frankly, there's a mathematical argument AGAINST opening any film on 300 screens... because this level or release adds huge costs but is not a wide-enough release to cross the critical mass into a top ten that consumers will "want to see" sort of movie release.

Those in-the-know regarding streaming recognize that HOME PAGE or PRIORITY placement with TUBI, ROKU and AMAZON streaming services will make the difference between a title generating $50,000 in V.O.D.... and those titles that go on to generate more than $500,000 from streaming.

The theatrical launch of UNHOLY SONG was designed to make the film eligible for PRIORITY SUPPORT FOR V.O.D. and for Physical Goods (DVD and BluRay). The money invested by HHSE has been well-thought out, frugally spent, and delivers an assured R.O.I.

Why are we doing this limited theatrical release RIGHT NOW? Because we also have the OTC QB UPLIST, the Studio Partner deal with WILDFIRE, the $22-mm funding for TEMPUS PORTA and several other "yet to be announced" projects that combine to elevate HHSE to the next level.

UNHOLY SONG having a handful of theatres is a smart step to enhance the film's profile and become a part of a well-planned strategy to make HHSE into a respected indie studio (and towards our goal of a $.25/PPS stock).

Those that ACTUALLY KNOW and work in this business, will see that we have hit a solid base-hit with UNHOLY SONG, on our way to winning the world series... just watch, it's all happening NOW>>>>>

Almost ANY movie can be placed onto TUBI and ROKU... but the financial winners are those that have HOME PAGE or CATEGORY PAGE priority listings. How do you get that? One way only: theatrical release exposure.

What better way - and what better spokesperson - than to have HHSE CEO Eric Parkinson promoting the company and releases like UNHOLY SONG at national media events (such as the SATURN AWARDS), and on local market media, such as KNWA (Fayetteville) and FoxNews10 Sacramento? These media appearances cost HHSE $0 dollars, which is a refreshing change to some of the company's prior experiences (e.g., paying an actress $20,000 to appear on THE TONIGHT SHOW, plus another $5,000 "wardrobe allowance" and $5,000 for hair-and-make-up entourage and private SUV Sedan car service... ugh!!).

$HHSE NEWS: Indie Studio Hannover House to build Horror Film Franchise around Quint Gabriel’s Rosanne character in UNHOLY SONG

February 27, 2025

EIN News Link -- Indie Studio Hannover House to build Horror Film Franchise around Quint Gabriel’s Rosanne character in UNHOLY SONG

Iconic demon character in movie could launch multiple films, says Hannover House C.E.O.

Hannover House, Inc. (OTCMKTS:HHSE)

If you’re going to play a monster, or in this case, a possessed witch, why not have a ton of evil spirits controlling your moves?”— Quint GabrielNEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, February 27, 2025 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Fueled by positive consumer reaction and international sales, indie distributor Hannover House, Inc. (OTC: HHSE) is looking to mine gold from the Unholy Song movie franchise, built on the shoulders of the film’s frightening new horror creature. In Unholy Song, which opens in theatres this Friday, Producer and actor Quint Gabriel bring the mega-demon Rosanne to life, and Hannover House thinks that his character marks the beginning of a new horror franchise.

“There’s movie magic when a film has a powerful and iconic character such as Quint’s Rosanne in our film,” said Eric Parkinson, C.E.O. of Hannover House. “Halloween has Michael Myers, Friday the 13th has Jason Vorhees and the Terrifier series has Art the Clown. But we think that people will look back at Unholy Song and mark this as the launch of Rosanne the Witch. We think Quint Gabriel has created a powerful new horror monster,” he concluded.

In response to early returns, Hannover House has greenlit the production of a sequel, “Unholy Song 2” to film this summer – and is looking a story options for a third installment next year.

“It’s an audience pleasing film, with a memorable and all-powerful character,” said Parkinson. “The concept will sustain multiple sequels and has the potential to grow into a major horror franchise,” he concluded.

The journey to success in the film industry can be challenging and circuitous. But for Quint Gabriel, coming back home to Lodi, California has proven to be the best strategy for the launch of his film and acting career. Quint - who grew up in Lodi and attended Tokay High School under the birth name of Matt Bingham – always loved movies, especially horror films, and knew that producing and acting in films was his ultimate career goal.

“I loved growing up in Lodi,” said Quint. “All through Junior High and High School, my buddies and I would enjoy playing basketball and going to the movies, especially horror movies. My favorite film of all time is definitely ‘Jaws’ – and when I decided to adopt a stage name, the character of ‘Quint’ really stood out to me. The ‘Gabriel’ part of my stage name was inspired by the archangel. So, if you’re trying to invent a stage name that directors and audiences will remember, I felt that ‘Quint Gabriel’ would be a cool head-start,” he concluded.

After years of seasonal work in the haunted house industry, Quint met up with a local film producer, Dick Jane. They hit it off as friends, and Quint ultimately starred in two short films for director Jane, including the hugely popular “Twinky” and it’s precursor film, “Kiddy Kiddy Bang Bang.” The success of these two short films inspired Quint to pursue the industry and to head to Los Angeles for professional film training. He was accepted into the prestigious Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood in 2016 and got his film degree with honors in 2019.

Film school proved to be both challenging and costly. However, Quint found an interesting line of work with All Points Media to cover his costs. During his years at L.A. Film School, Quint would meet the bills by driving a “billboard truck” around high traffic areas, special events or sporting arenas.

“It was a crazy sort of job, but a lot of fun,” he said. “Stationery billboards placed alongside roads and highways can be very expensive for advertisers. So, All Points Media took the billboards to wherever there were crowds. It was definitely more fun than working a desk job or in a restaurant, like so many others,” he concluded.

In 2020, during the height of Covid, Quint returned to Lodi and met-up with another local filmmaker, Arthur G. Night. The two of them embarked on a feature production called “Psychopomp” in which Quint both served as producer as well as a principal on-camera performer.

“My character had an older model television set in place of where a human head would go,” said Quint. “It was very bizarre, but essential to the tone and plot of Arthur’s vision.”

Psychopomp turned out well and was acquired for distribution in North America by the well-known V.O.D. distributor, Gravitas Ventures. Encouraged by this success, Quint and Arthur decided to go even bigger on the next film. “UNHOLY SONG” would be their first feature intended for theatrical audiences, and would be inspired by the greatest story of exorcism in the bible.

“Arthur and I knew that horror films were popular with audiences. But we noticed that exorcism themed films can be very successful,” he noted. “We looked that the Miracle of the Gerasene Demoniac in the book of Matthew, and thought, ‘how can we turn this story into an independent horror film’”?

The result was “UNHOLY SONG” – which is set in modern day California, and was shot in Lodi, Stockton and Sacramento. This time, Quint’s character role would be essential to the story. He would be playing Rosanne, a misfit woman who becomes possessed by the spirits of over 2,000 demons.

“If you’re going to play a monster, or in this case, a possessed witch, why not have a ton of evil spirits controlling your moves?,” said Quint. “The biggest challenge is when the exorcist is trying to overpower me with prayers in Latin, from the book of spells. But Rosanne is so much more powerful than any mere human. It’s quite a character and spectacle to see,” he concluded.

UNHOLY SONG launches to theatres starting Friday, Feb. 28. The initial release will only appear in about twenty locations, but includes larger cities such as San Francisco, Nashville, Kansas City, Memphis and Tulsa. During the month of March, the film’s distributor, Hannover House, plans to add the film into theatres in top markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas and Houston.

So, be sure to checkout Quint Gabriel as Rosanne the Witch in Unholy Song.

There is a significant "overhead fee" paid to HHSE from the film's production funding. But the bigger values are in HHSE capitalizing the full production costs ($22-mm) to the balance sheet, and controlling the worldwide distribution rights in Perpetuity (worth at least another $20-mm in gross revenues). We're not screwing around with low-value properties anymore... the way to take HHSE up to the Lionsgate level is to have some SERIOUS feature projects... such as TEMPUS PORTA.

J, let's peel the onion back. The Failure was President of distribution at Helmdale. He had very little, if any input, on what movies they would support. Helmdale had a successes, but also a lot of losers. The two guys who founded the firm, split once the finances turned negative. The Failure and another were named Co-CEO's. The Failure wanted to turn toward animate, but was a losing strategy. A French bank was owed $30MM+ secured by the library. The bank foreclosed and sold the library off. End of Helmdale.

$HHSE NEWS: Hannover House thriller, Unholy Song, Launches to Theatres with Brazillian beauty Jessica K. Chaves

Acclaimed new horror feature is proving to be a notable launch for a rising star in Hollywood

Hannover House, Inc. (OTCMKTS:HHSE)

I had been involved in a toxic relationship while living in Brazil. I felt that I could channel the depth of this back history into the character, and Arthur told me to go for it.” —- Jessica K. Chaves

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES

February 26, 2025 / EINPresswire.com / -- Indie distributor Hannover House, Inc. (OTC: HHSE) has high hopes for its horror franchise, Unholy Song, and attributes much of the success to the appeal of Brazilian actress Jessica K. Chaves in the lead role.

"Jessica is enchanting to watch on screen" said Hannover House CEO, Eric Parkinson. "At each of our industry screenings, top reviewers have singled out Jessica as a face to watch, and we agree."

Jessica's journey to the big screen is notable and inspiring. Facing a wall of television cameras and a crowd of paparazzi, the red carpet of the Saturn Awards telecast in Los Angeles earlier this month was the pinnacle of a long journey for Jessica. Starring in her first theatrical film, “UNHOLY SONG”, Jessica was an invited V.I.P. celebrity guest for the worldwide broadcast of the 52nd annual awards for Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films. It was a widely seen awards show. In fact, Jessica’s friends and family could watch the event via Roku Networks all the way back from her hometown in Aparecida, Brazil.

“It was such a great honor to represent the film,” said Jessica. “And for me, personally, being on the red carpet at a major awards show was a validation that my struggle to break into film acting was finally paying off.”

Jessica’s journey from Brazil to the big screen was something she planned out while still just a teenager. Having “caught the acting bug” with roles in school performances, including “Pride and Prejudice” and “The Taming of the Shrew,” Jessica knew that acting and entertainment would be her preferred path. Still, the opportunities to break into film acting are rare, especially in rural Brazil. So, Jessica felt that her path to success would ultimately require a move to America, to California and eventually to Los Angeles.

“I was always very dramatic as a kid,” she said. “My cousin and I would put on plays for our family, mostly comedies. But I would always spice it up with a dramatic flair. Their praise was the beginning of my journey, and I felt that somehow, I needed to find a way to break into movies.”

During her Middle School and High School years, Jessica joined the Cia Camarim Theatre Group in Aparecida. While in that group, she participated in a variety of plays and musicals including "Harry Potter: Back to Hogwarts, The Musical” and a leading role and singing part as Esmerelda in “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”

Her favorite television show during High School was the American series, “Greys Anatomy” – and this fueled her interest in human anatomy and physiology. She thought about medical school, but ultimately pursued nursing, and she obtained a nursing degree in 2020.

“It was definitely my back-up plan,” said Jessica. “I really enjoyed working as a nurse, but felt that it was a means-to-the-end goal of working as an actress. I thought that having a nursing degree might make it easier to get a Visa to work in the USA, and to make a living while trying to break into the film business.”

In March of 2021, Jessica decided to join an “Au Pair” program that would place her with a family in California, and provide room, board and some income while she attended to their children. She saw this program as a great opportunity to move to America, and she accepted. For the next two years, Jessica worked in the Au Pair program both the Bay Area and in Long Island, New York, while she pursued acting classes and auditions.

Ultimately, in September of 2023, she got the call that she had been hoping to receive. A film director and an independent production company in the Sacramento area were planning to shoot an exorcism-themed horror movie, and were looking for their leading actress. Jessica was recommended, and her audition for director Arthur G. Night and casting director Quint Gabriel went perfectly well. In just a few weeks, Jessica was in front of the cameras and filming “UNHOLY SONG” with a group of seasoned filmmakers and cast members.

“It was such an appealing project for me,” she said. “The plot is very good, and the background of my character, Vivi, is that she is renting a room in this home in order to get away from an abusive relationship with her husband. This really hit home for me – and probably for many women – as I had been involved in a toxic relationship while living in Brazil. I felt that I could channel the depth of this back history into the character, and Arthur told me to go for it.”

UNHOLY SONG launches to theatres starting Friday, Feb. 28. The initial release will only appear in about a dozen locations, but includes larger cities such as San Francisco, Nashville, Kansas City, Memphis and Tulsa. During the month of March, the film’s distributor, Hannover House, plans to expand the film into theatres in top markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas and Houston.

Due to some early sales success with UNHOLY SONG to international territories, Hannover House has approved the production of a sequel, UNHOLY SONG 2, that will shoot this summer in Sonoma and other Bay Area locations. Jessica will reprise her role as Vivi, as the sequel picks-up right where the first movies ended.

“I got a call last month from the Arthur, asking me if I wanted to come back for the sequel,” she said. “It sounded like he dropped the phone on his end, because I could not help but to scream with excitement when he asked. I said ‘of course’ and I am definitely looking forward to returning to Stockton and to the Bay Area for filming this summer.”

Jessica now resides in Santa Clarita, CA and is preparing for her role in UNHOLY SONG 2.

According to imdb.com Unholy Song started production in October 2023. If these filmmakers are unable to recoup the budget of the first film (after years in the making), there is little chance for a sequel.

Decades ago, there was a lucrative market for these films. Now, the economics of micro-budget films favor artistic drive over financial return.

Wildfire started production in August of 2019 and has yet to be completed. (regrettably, unreleased films don't age like wine)

To the shareholders chagrin, the CEO will likely need another "NEW BUSINESS PLAN" if he's going to reach his 50M revenue prediction for 2025.
