Yes she is. Has now owned SKX for 10 months, is UP 68.7% in 10 months.
Buys were 7/8/2020 and 7/31/2020. I can only wish that all my picks were
this good.

Skechers (NYSE:SKX) reports sales in the domestic wholesale business fell 47.3% in Q2 and sales in the international wholesale business decreased 37.8% during the quarter.

Comparable same store sales in the direct-to-consumer business were off 45.6%, including a decrease of 35.9% in the U.S. and 66.9% internationally.

Sales in China rose 11.5% during the quarter.

Gross margin improved 210 bps from a year ago as a result of a favorable mix of online and international sales. A net loss of $68.1M was recorded.

CFO update: "Despite the challenges of the second quarter, we are optimistic about the early-stage recovery we are seeing in much of our business, including a return to growth in China and the explosive growth of our e-commerce channel... We ended the second quarter in a position of significant financial strength, having grown our cash balances sequentially by more than $175 million through prudent inventory, working capital and operating expense management."

Full-year guidance was withheld by Skechers due to the pandemic.

PPS holding pretty steady....... does anyone think the PPS can start a consistent climb again?

Those law suits are trivial. I'm not worried about them. I'm looking forward to the next quarterly report (which I think is February 9, 2018) and the conference call for forward guidance. I suspect the next quarterly report should be very good. It will encompass the Christmas season sales numbers. Retail had a good season this year, because of the employment growth, and the stronger economy in general.

Just wondering if we can keep riding up the PPS with the lawsuits not over and done with yet......

Well this would have been nice to see coming!! Do people really live and die so much by either a beat or miss on an earnings estimate?? There's a lot more to a company/stock than just a quarterly earnings....
Don't get me wrong, I'm super stoked, but let's not get so volatile on the next quarter's 'estimate' beat or miss.

Another big day of late earnings reports hit the tape after the closing bell Wednesday. Companies as substantial and diverse as Tesla Motors (TSLA), Twitter (TWTR), Whole Foods Market (WFM), Skechers (SKX) and Zynga (ZNGA) pushed out their latest quarterly results, so let's get right to them.

Tesla posted a terrible headline miss in loss per share for its Q4, but outperforming Model S deliveries as well as reaffirmations for its 2016 goals sent the stock far higher in the late market, pushing back on much of the big losses the stock had been incurring over the past 5 trading days.
