Great American Insurance Group Promotes Keith A. Jensen to Executive Vice President CINCINNATI, April 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Great American Insurance Group announced today that Keith A. Jensen has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Great American. Prior to this promotion, Mr. Jensen was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Great American. In his new role, Mr. Jensen continues to serve as Great American's Chief Financial Officer and assumes responsibility for Corporate Services and the Specialty Financial Group. The operating units of the Specialty Financial Group include fidelity and surety bond business, insurance risk management programs for lending and leasing institutions and foreign credit insurance. Mr. Jensen was named a Senior Vice President of American Financial Group (NYSE:AFG), Great American's parent, in February 1999. At AFG, he is principally involved in acquisitions, capital transactions, corporate development and investor relations. In addition, Mr. Jensen serves as Executive Vice President of Great American Financial Resources, Inc., an 82%- owned subsidiary of AFG. Prior to joining the AFG family of companies, Mr. Jensen had been a partner at Deloitte & Touche since 1986 and had been assigned to the San Francisco, New York and Cincinnati Offices. Between 1987 to 1990 he was the principal assistant to Deloitte & Touche's chairman and chief executive officer and a member of the strategic task force. Mr. Jensen was awarded Bachelor of Science and Master of Accounting degrees from Brigham Young University in 1975. Through the operations of the Great American Insurance Group, AFG is engaged primarily in property and casualty insurance, focusing on specialized commercial products for businesses, and in the sale of retirement annuities, life and supplemental health insurance products.
