On December 19, 2008, Tennessee Commerce Bancorp, Inc. (the “Corporation”), announced that it has  issued $30 million of fixed rate cumulative perpetual preferred stock to the U.S. Treasury Department under the Capital Purchase Program.  A copy of the related press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
