Endurance International Group (EIG) is a very large web hosting company. It got so large by quietly buying up web-hosting companies all across the US, and then continuing to operate them under their original names. People don't realize that EIG now owns their webhosting company. After it purchases the webhosting companies, EIG guts their staff and shifts their IT department to India. At some point customer's websites become "infected with malware". EIG (operating under whatever webhosting company you signed up with and it now owns) shuts down the customer's website, claiming they had no choice because of the malware, and tells them about this wonderful service called "Sitelock", and then transfers the customer to India, claiming to be transfering them to a "third party vendor". This is not true, as EIG earns about 55% of its income from SITELOCK. The India representatives then push this malware protection "Sitelock", which is VERY overpriced and unnecessary. * FYI: THE PUNCH LINE IS THIS: OFTEN THERE NEVER WAS ANY MALWARE, EXCEPT THE ONES THEY PLACE THERE.

Bluehost (aka EIG) pulled this scam on me. My IT guy found that there wasn't any malware, but they tried to trick him into believing it, and they tried to charge him over $6,000.00. When my IT guy told them he would fix it, and proved it did not have malware, BlueHost allowed my site to go back up. However, in the morning I received a call from one of my clients, stating that my website redirects them to an escort service. BlueHost knows. All of these webhosters are owned by the same company, and ALL are scamming people.

Any hosting they touch gets ruined. A clever scam started by a convicted securities scammer. Interesting they are considering selling after the massive swamp drain is taking place.


"This is a fraudulent company. They buy up excellent, reputable web hosting companies (Bluehost, Hostgator, JustHost, etc.), then gut the companies, reduce promised services, and then outsource all the operations to India, all the while maintaining the original brand (clever but fraudulent) so existing customers don't realize until too late they've been punked.

When they steal your site and refuse to give it back, and have no working phone numbers to talk to anyone with authority, it's a disaster for you and your clients. One of their most recent escapades (or "brands" as they refer to them) is Site5.com, one of the best hosting services until EIG bought them in 2016 and proceeded to destroy the company. They refuse to address technical issues, hold your site hostage, and have no ability to escalate issues to anyone with authority. A scam operation, pure and simple. Beware!

The worst part is they have an army of Indian drones on chat support who keep apologizing, claiming the problem will be fixed, and simply telling lie after lie until you are exhausted and lose your business because of their technical incompetence.

Endurance International Group (EIGI) had their IPO today and closed at 11.25. This is actually very under-valued based on the initial projection of 14-16$. The IPO was originally scheduled for next summer; however, due to market conditions it appears EIG decided to have their IPO early...

In my opinion the rushed IPO did not allow for ample amount of time to properly market the company OR grant market makers proper time to research the company (thus the slow start).

Numerous sources cite large-debt as a concern for EIG; however, upon investigation you will find the majority of the debt was gained when EIG acquired hosting companies (Bluehost & Hostgator). Bluehost and Hostgator are two of the largest hosting companies in the world which obviously would cost a lot to purchase.

Investors will see rapid growth in profit as the companies will begin to profit substantially from the new acquisitions (in my opinion)...

I this at the current price this is a MUST BUY...
