After putting him on ignore (along with kund) a short while back, I guarantee you this board is much better.

Wednesday is just another day in the Anavex journey.

What any Anavex investor needs to determine is the probability of EMA approval. All else, for the time being, is small potatoes.

If Anavex is EMA approved, one can anticipate a HUGE jump in market cap, perhaps by multiples of the current MC.

For me, EMA approval, given the EMA submission acceptance coupled with the JPAD publication is 90% plus!

When accepted, one can anticipate HUGE AVXL revenues exponentially growing going forward.

So, no worries about those 23 million shorts, as they will need to cover sometime between now and approval and those coverings will create a HUGE AVXL price explosion.

For AVXL to be trading at $8.50 is currently attributable to those 23 million shorts.

Patience grasshopper, it's a matter of a fairly short time before AVXL true value is realized. Worst case is we need to await EMA approval. Best case, big players will come to the realization that Blarcamesine will be EMA approved and will will create a run on AVXL price, accompanied by the 23 million short coverings, pushing AVXL price into the $40's or above.

All I can say with some degree of certainty is that with EMA approval, probably in the fall, AVXL price will be very, very much higher than the ridiculously low $8.50 where AVXL is currently priced. Will it take EMA approval for AVXL to realize a much higher MC, or will the big players want to jump in prior to EMA approval? I suspect that big players will want to take an AVXL position at today's ridiculously low price, but, if not, I can withstand the market machinations until EMA approval occurs and AVXL attains a much higher and much more reasonable price, multiples higher than today's ridiculously low price thanks to those 23 million shorts (i.e. approx. 25% of OS shares) who will need to run to cover between now and EMA approval!

That’s because autophagy is directly correlated to sigmar 1 in helping mitochondria dysfunction like George’s post earlier. Therefore Anavex helps mitochondria which results in helping neurological diseases. Tons of studies are now coming to the same conclusion. Plus lowering insulin levels is also becoming very important in preventing disease. Anavex will be approved but unfortunately the process takes to long but the end game is near.

The usual stuff with one or two tidbits of new information. Nothing of major consequence.

So what do all the experts on this board really expect from the conference call on Wednesday and yes this is a serious question

The shareholders look to be the ones who have been conned. We'll see.

Here's a sobering fact NOT OUT of bizarro world - on this date in 2021 the stock closed at 14.10, in 2022 it closed at 12.17, in 2023 it closed at 10.56. SEE THE PATTERN. Here we sit at 8.51. It's been a total losing piece of schitt for FOUR YEARS. And here I am still giving it another year.

Such a miracle drug, yet the market sees it as just another mediocre drug, valuing it at less than $1 billion. Why?

I think I might be an exception since I'm the one in the house with experience in taking out the trash and the recycling.

Nidan has an unquenchable ability to be puzzled by the same circumstance over and over again.

Reading that paper makes me think we are looking at a mechanism that has such a global effect on so many critical organs that enhancing autophagy could have serious life extension possibilities since it’s more rapid decline in men compared to women may be the mechanism that results in them having on average a shorter lifespan than women.

I am not discussing those Mab researchers' beliefs, just their skill set. Their skill set is quite specific, and has more potential for oncology than for a competitive AD product.

I'm done repeating myself on this subject.

You and I have only a superficial and limited familiarity, and you have a poor understanding of AD researchers' breath and depth of training and experience. I have a college friend who does Parkinson's research for Prevail/Lilly and he'd be amused. They're not ignorant or blind in the 'true cause' (which like AD is not yet known) nor in the various experimental therapies (his field is gene therapies).

If you ask an AD researcher working with MABs what the cause and cure of AD is, he's not going to say "Amyloid fibrils, they have to be removed". Take a moment.

I'm not ignorant of current AD research, either, and that certainly doesn't qualify me for anything in terms of conducting research.

These researchers are highly specialized in a dead end field, and they are not experts in other treatments. As I said, their MAB skills translate better to oncology than to S1R work.

This is funny—a remote Executive Director living across the country. How does this company even operate? The CEO is always on vacation with model, and the rest of the employees are scattered all over the country. No wonder nothing is moving.

Closings are more important than intraday for most accurate prediction IMO because late day action can change the low or high.
Also IMO there are candles and candlestick patterns that change throughout the day. Indicators may be stronger or weaker as they also change throughout the day.
Today for example could be setting up for a double bottom. Won't know the possibilities until after closing and then whether confirmation comes next week.

Currently more down is overtaking odds on a bounce here. Price still hasn't broken up above the 4ema and dropping further away from the 8ema.
Have to wait for days end but testing the 100 period is now very much in view. No, I have not added any shares yet. 😎. Why? Price cannot flatten let alone push up the 4ema yet. On the other side, I never sell when price is above 4ema unless there are strong negative divergences or unrealistic prices above standard deviations. There are many nuances that also feed into that, like ema angle steepness, blah blah bla.
Those are some of my feelings on AVXL in the short term right now.

C, thanks for your outlook. Question for you. Why do you say closing is more predictive than intraday highs/lows ? I've always focused on the pivot peaks and bottoms. The significance of the movement from bottoms and tops. It's the price action picture, versus the clock time from one day to another. Clock time doesn't mark the beginning or ending of the price wave ... like today as a good example, today's down to finish at 8.45 was a continuation of yesterday's downward wave, that stopped/paused at 4 pm, but the target wasn't reached yet.
And now, here, Friday, the end of week on the clock time, but the downwave might not be finished yet, if the target is 8.00/7.80, we might see next week reach the target. So that's why I focus more on the chart pattern, waves heading to targets, not where it sits when 4 pm closes the clock time. Your thoughts?

What could they say...?

- Might announce PD trial but that wouldn't move the shares IMO
- Might finally bring us up to speed on what happened to Rett but that also would not move the shares?
- Might announce submission to TGA or other agency?
- Might announce positive outcome from FDA meeting? That would move the shares.

What else?
