Speaking of fakery

Well, when all of the fakery is happening is when you start stocking up and wait. It'll always pop at some point in the near future...never fails. As unpredictable in the micro sense that this can be, it is entirely predictable when you pan out and look at the bigger picture. Patience is always key...something that was never my strong suit

It's like someone makes a phone call and the pump starts. It hit immediately after market close. I had a buy order for UVIX at 9.50 minutes before the market closed feeling it wasn't gonna get filled because of the stonger upward momo at the moment. The market closed and before I looked left and right UVIX was at 9.10 in AHs. Just another wtf VIX moment. Gonna hit 8s tomorrow, I'll bet

Back to the regularly scheduled pump-a -thon while the soft landing gear is prepared once again

Market drops and gets gobbled back up in no time. So much for that "reality" setting in. During this tech earnings week the S&P will head back up over 5100 and beyond. Nothing is wrong after all folks, sorry about that, lol

I know, when I think about how much money I would've made just holding onto a long short position, it's sobering to say the least. I had some big positions too and as always with the way I traded these funds, I always got caught up in the moment instead of seeing the bigger picture and just leaving it alone to do what it has always done over time and what it's designed to do...decay and drop in value.

$LAZR $MULN
MULN has perfectly aligned with the base of our wedge support, signaling a potential bounce from oversold conditions. Yesterday's 15-20% drop provided a much-needed opportunity, and I've taken advantage by adding positions at current prices.

Both LAZR and MULN's trajectories hinge on the VIX's behavior, which appears poised for a drop below 18 in the coming days. If / when vix pushes through 17, it may be game on for a big leg down. This is just a technical bounce imo. Spy open gap is now closed. This bounce seemed too obvious based on double, triple bottoms everywhere and stocks sitting at channel supports. Maybe test 520 ish tomorrow but can't see how much longer the market owners can hold er up

Incredible VIX slam after the spike today, dang. I'm back to watching UVIX after the split on UVXY. Well over a dollar move on the downside, amazing how they crush it when they decide to do so.

Yes all very true good points. The nearly vertical up trend is changing. We will see how it plays out. Destroying America still in play and will likely never change. Big money owns the market and will manipulate where profit is maximized

Market has seemed toppy since the S&P topped 4800. It just keeps going up despite all of the dysfunction, chaos, rising interest rates, rising prices, global instability and uncertainty etc. I know a lot of that isn't new, but it just seems to have gotten worse.

The recent MJ run was a doozy!

I actually haven't been trading for awhile now. I needed to stop with the gambling and obsession with these crazy ETFs. Wasn't good for my pocketbook or my head. Having said that, I do still follow the market and paper trade anything that is moving. Funny how my mental/emotional space is not that different paper trading than it is with actual money on the line, lol. I guess it's from all of the years of conditioning and from being competitive by nature. Anyway, it is entertaining. I socked most all of my money into both a high interest savings account and bought a lot of gold and silver. Not sexy, but 10 years from now, I'll have more than if I were to keep running to the casino.

I bailed on this UVXY and scratched it…no profits or loss. Now that they just announced a reverse stock split- it’s not worth messing with it. I’m more comfortable with my short positions in the actual SPYs.

I’ve been building a short position this quarter in the SPY where my dollar cost avg is around 511.96 which means I’m down a bit but I knew going in that catching the very top was never going to be realistic during exuberance times like this which I’ve seen three times before in the past 25 years. My thinking is (was) that this quarter, going into an election, plus a whole host of other factors would push these markets to new highs but the question is how high. I’ve got plenty of powder left since each entry point are (were) very small and I’ll avg higher prices by placing slightly more amounts with each aggressive new highs. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart but this is a position for the next nine months or longer if this cycle plays out like the others before it. We’ll see…

I’ve been buying from $7.70 down to its recent lows while also scaling an intermediate short position in the SPY. It’s always most painful at or the near the “tops” as the exuberance is the most irrational. Seen this picture about four times in the past 25 years and it almost always plays out the same. We’ll see if this time is no different…
