Congress has already blown through three generations of future spending so not a lot of room to move there. Question: the country is holding $36/$37 trillion in IOUs, but where did the money go? China, Japan, India? What did we get for it? The really huge deficit spending started in 2009 on the excuse of saving the country from bankruptcy, or something. Since then the average deficit spending has been nearly $2 trillion. The last year of the Bush presidency the budget for 2008/09 was $2.8+/- trillion, as I recall. Now we spend close to $7 trillion.

This is going to take a month or two to sort out. After that, Navarro says 50k DOW.
