    Update on Takeover Offer for Anzon Australia Limited by Roc Oil Company Limited


    Anzon Energy Limited's subsidiary, Anzon Australia Limited (AZA), has today been notified by Roc Oil Company Limited (ROC) that the
results of AZA's reserves review released on 19 August 2008 for the Basker Manta Gummy fields are consistent with ROC's assessment, which
formed the basis for its takeover offer for AZA. A copy of the announcement made today by ROC is available on the ASX website
