                           ("Aspen" or "the Company")

                            Statement re: Suspension

Following the suspension of trading in the Company's ordinary shares this
morning in accordance with Rule 15 of the AIM Rules, Aspen announces that the
board has reviewed a number of potential acquisitions, none of which have met
with its criteria. The board is currently reviewing its options.

At present, however, Aspen is not currently holding discussions with any company
regarding an acquisition which would constitute a reverse takeover under the AIM
rules.

There is no guarantee that the Company will make a successful acquisition.
However, if an acquisition and/or investment is not completed by 19 November
2007, the trading in the Company's ordinary shares on AIM will be cancelled.
