Windfire Closes Private Placement

Windfire Capital Corp. (TSX VENTURE:WIF) ("Windfire"), Clive Massey, President
of Windfire, is pleased to announce that further to the Company's news release
dated August 24, 2011 the Company has closed a non-brokered private placement of
1,517,855 units at a price of $0.45 per unit for proceeds of approximately
$683,035 (the "Offering"). 


Each unit comprised of one common share and one half share purchase warrant
exercisable at a price of $0.60 for a period of two years from the closing date
(the "Closing Date") of the Offering. 


All securities issued pursuant to this financing are subject to a 4 month hold
period from the Closing Date.
