Lero Gold Corp.: Shareholders Approve Transaction with European Minerals Corporation

Lero Gold Corp. ("Lero") (TSX VENTURE:LER) is pleased to announce that its
shareholders have unanimously approved the plan of arrangement transaction with
European Minerals Corporation ("EMC") at Lero's reconvened shareholders' meeting
held today. Accordingly, an application will be made on Friday, June 13, 2008
for a final order of the Supreme Court of British Columbia to approve the plan
of arrangement and business combination with EMC, as required by the British
Columbia Business Corporations Act. Subject to the issuance of the final court
order, the arrangement transaction is scheduled to close on or about Wednesday,
June 18, 2008.
