appointment of Mr. Denis Richard on
its Board of Directors. President of La Coop fédérée since
1993, Mr. Richard brings to Innoventé a solid expertise in the
agriculture and agri-food fields with which the Corporation's
activities are intimately connected.
Mr. Richard is also Chairman of the Board of
Directors of Olymel L.P. and Vice President of the new pan-Canadian
organization Coopératives et Mutualités Canada. Previously, he has been President
of the Canadian and Québec councils for cooperation and mutuality.
He is an agricultural producer since 1979 and operates a business
in Leclercville (Québec) dedicated
exclusively to grain farming and with 400 hectares of
land.

In connection with his appointment, the Board of
Directors of the Corporation has authorized the grant to Mr.
Denis Richard of a total of 75,000
stock options.
