Further to its news release of December 3, 2009, Consolidated Envirowaste Industries Inc. (the "Company") announces that a special meeting of the Company will be held on January 29, 2010 to request shareholder approval to the proposed going-private arrangement transaction. An information circular for the special meeting of the Company was mailed to the shareholders on January 4, 2010.
