Netezza Announces Mantra Vault Appliance

Netezza Corporation (NYSE: NZ), the global leader in data warehouse, analytic and monitoring appliances, today announced the Netezza® Mantra® Vault™ appliance, a purpose-built solution designed to address predictive data risk analytics.

The Netezza Mantra Vault appliance is the first solution to offer predictive data risk analytics by analyzing long-term transactional data activity cost-effectively and simply across thousands of databases. The Mantra Vault extends the capabilities of DAM (Data Activity Monitoring) products that typically allowed enterprises to monitor real-time, short-term activity in their databases. Predictive data risk analytics enables large enterprises to effectively gain long-term visibility, insight and an unprecedented level of strategic risk assessment of transactional activity in their datacenters.

With general availability expected in the first quarter of 2011, the Mantra Vault is built on Netezza’s popular TwinFin™ data warehouse appliance platform and leverages Netezza Mantra’s patented rules language for policy-based analytics. The Netezza Mantra Vault appliance complements current-generation DAM products and provides critically needed capabilities of multi-year audit data retention, predictive analytics, and reporting.
