For the full year 2019, the Company plans to drill and complete 85 to 90 net wells and place 80 to 85 net wells on production.

On December 19, 2017, Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation (the “Company”) entered into a definitive agreement to sell, with an effective date of January 1, 2018, all of its assets in the Eagle Ford Shale in Texas to VOG Palo Verde LP, an affiliate of Venado Oil & Gas LLC, for $765.0 million in cash, subject to adjustments and customary terms and conditions. The transaction is expected to close February 28, 2018

Cabot Oil +2%, CB&I -10% after Macquarie analyst actions

Cabot Oil & Gas (COG +2.4%) maintains strong gains after Macquarie upgrades shares to Outperform from Neutral, saying the stock's recent pullback is overdone and expecting improved natural gas prices into the fall and tighter Marcellus differentials.

The firm also is making its presence felt in Chicago Bridge & Iron (CBI -9.9%), whose shares have sank to 52-week lows after Macquarie slashed its stock price target to $11.50 from $18, saying the company has "hidden debt."
