I don't know exactly what happens to futures contracts in this case. I imagine they would expire worthless as there is no longer any BEZ..

It was assimilated into ABB. Your shares should be purchased at the negotiated negotiated price. Got any unknown cash in your account?

It would acquire the remaining shares at $63.50 per share and de-list the company from Wall Street, it added.

Subject to the satisfaction of these other conditions, ABB expects to close the acquisition of Baldor soon after the expiration of the tender offer.

I just wonder why it did not go through the first time as planned and why was it extended ?

Regulators approved sale last week... Offer expires on the 25th... Watch closely...

I thought the purchase date was the 25th..........

If it falls through again - it may be interesting to see what BEZ PPS does tomorrow...........

Interesting that a new board is formed on the day when Baldor is purchased by ABB... Doesn't make much sense, but Oh well!
