Did all management get fired and replaced along with the ceo?…because I suspect the ceo wasn’t flying solo with that fraud…there were quite likely many in management, vp’s, directors etc who had knowledge of what was taking place…which makes them complicit…

Thus “that wasn’t done by the current management” may not be accurate…

So I can’t really say someone who feels there could have been fraud is dead wrong…I don’t believe there was…but I can’t state for a fact there wasn’t or even that it is highly unlikely…

It would be highly unlikely if there had never been any fraud allegations previously…but there has…big time…

UK, I agree with you. I don't understand why the restitution hasn't been collected, and indeed it would have helped a lot. I'm frustrated that though there is a settlement against Milton, that there hasn't been a quick collection of funds. This is a breakdown in our justice system, as I see it.

2 1/2 yrs ago, the founder and ceo of Nkla was sentenced to 4 yrs in prison for fraud…

I don’t believe there has been any fraud recently…just ineptness and a very bad business model…

But clearly, there has absolutely been fraud in their history…

there is no fraud.

I lost far more than $10k on this and the fuel cell stocks. the business strategy was fine but in NKLAs case they hit some issues - the BEV recalls for sure was a problem.
Things take longer than mgt planned and of course policy changes cant help.

I learned a lot about cutting losses and I keep watching as I believe i limiting emissions and this is a great product. When the time is right and if they are still tradable and not private then I will jump in again but they need to be operating cash flow positive.

Far fewer mgt issues here than with PLUG though

they are miles away and they know it...they had zero chance of getting it done...i cant imagine private equity wanting to touch nkla with a ten foot pole...

their filings and reports have been clear since Girsky took over. They needed $100m a quarter - reduced by making cuts to c $30m a quarter
they originally were targeting 12 months cash then that got reduced in order to minimize dilution - to 3-6 months cash and the Q3 report said they had cash to just scrape through Q1.
Their sales strategy was laid out as they lose money on every FCEV colsd the customer had to be part of the national account approach and we saw 10 and 30 unit orders with major trucking companies being fulfilled and great reviews.

but national account s have yet to comit to 100+ orders against whic they could make the supply chain commitments to build FCEV 2.0 which is 50% cheaper in parts.

They could just go and get another $500m from another R/S. or they can restructure the debt commitments and start over in my view as part of a private equity firm who would fund the 6 months needed to get to a operations cash flow positive quickly

Actually "inept" is the correct term. They did an RS, already wiping out common holders. If they clearly understood the first thing about capital preservation and managing cash burn they would have been doing the correct things for survival. Cut management salaries or suspend them, cut staff, sell excess components. It could have been done with some additional dilution.

Mgt team have been running a battle and losing. not inept but it takes time to get the volume commitments from national fleets. the battery recall didn't help the cash flow that would have given them the 6 months needed to get to FCEV 2.0 and profitable trucks.

I am expecting chapter 11 then sold to private equity, hey are so close to being successful

I do not know how many trucks NKLA sold in Q4 as the cash was publicly running out

But - we all know that NKLA produced and fueled hundreds of trucks

Does the Arizona plant get closed and fenced in - or does someone like IVECO or HYUNDAI buy it for a dollar - assume debt and input needed cash

The Bloomberg - Yahoo - story seems to repeat what I have read on some messenger part of Facebook devoted to NKLA.

At same time - seems there are only two choices ----1) CH 11 (or worse) and 2) A merger where equity in NKLA is wiped out but maybe a bigger company takes over - with H Trucks and Battery Trucks (and HYLA ?) as subs

Oh well - on the $$ side - it hurts but the pain was a long long time ago - not today

What was he CEO thinking here buying before the RS ? He invested half a million dollars now worth about 50k in 3 months . CEO’s are supposed to be ahead of things but in this case he was just a gambler . IMO

Yes, investors lose money everyday in Nkla…the company is still selling trucks at a huge loss…and talking costs nothing thank goodness or Nkla wouldn’t be able to afford it…

what for?...this company is toast...the pps was in the $30's when nkla said they wanted to r/s...it was in the $10 range when they actually did the r/s in late June....the pps now is 88 cents...

in 7 months, this company just rendered a 1-30 r/s useless...nkla cant make a profit selling the trucks they make because they lose $200k per truck...the sales numbers are meaningless...they will never sell enough trucks to make a profit...they have a shot if they ever get to the 2.0 trucks...but even then, its not much a shot...and who knows when they get there anyway...

anyone who had 100k shares before the first split, now has 3.3k shares....and if nkla does another 1-30 split, they will have 111 shares...

anyone that is still holding this stock is doing so because theres no real point in selling what they have...its peanuts now...may as well just hold and hope for the best...

i cant imagine why anyone would be interested in investing at this point....or really, any point...

saw HYLA weekly numbers - doing "Record" fills and volume every week but still no Q4 delivery report which I expect was well within expectations.

Company seems to be in some sort of management spiral.

Hopefully they sell to private equity who can inject necessary cash to get FCEV 2.0 to volume production and profitability.
