There should be no balance requirement or margin account requirement to day trade. Either you have the money or you don't. But the real fix for that would be to do away with "settlement time" all together. If I buy a stock I should own it "instantly". Same thing when selling -

Just a reminder that AFFU will not remain a sub-penny stock for much longer imo. Thanks jammastermike. I do have accounts with Fidelity, but most are mutual funds that I've allowed Fidelity to manage. Where is L2 in Fidelity? I can't seem to find it. Also, if I recall, international trades (like with ALRTF) are also quite expensive with Fidelity, as they are with Schwab.

It's the shorts, naked shorting with no bottom methinks. The SEC sucks for regulating shorting. Glad I bailed out and cut my losses in pm.
