Federman & Sherwood Announces That a Securities Class Action Lawsuit Was Filed Against Lancer Corporation OKLAHOMA CITY, June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- On May 13, 2004, the class action lawsuit was filed in the Western District of Texas against Lancer Corporation (AMEX:LAN). The complaint alleges violations of federal securities laws, Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5, including allegations of issuing a series of misrepresentations to the market which had the effect of artificially inflating the market price. The complaint further alleges that these material misrepresentations were false and misleading because they materially described inaccurately the nature of Lancer's revenue by saying it was derived from legitimate business transactions, when in reality, substantial revenues were derived because of a scheme to artificially set the sales prices of Lancer's products to its customers. The class period is from October 26, 2000 through February 4, 2004. Plaintiff seeks to recover damages on behalf of the Class. If you are a member of the Class as described above, you may move the Court no later than sixty (60) days from May 13, 2004, to serve as a lead plaintiff for the Class.
