Company Secretary Change

The Board of Woolworths Group plc announces that Jonathan Bloom is today
stepping down as Company Secretary.  Stephen East, Finance Director, will take
on the Company Secretary responsibilities until a replacement is found, for
which a search is currently underway.

The Board of Woolworths Group would like to thank Jonathan for his valued
contribution to the development of the Group and wish him every success in the
future.
