Issue of Shares

European  Minerals Corporation announces that it has issued 87,500 common shares of no  par  value  in
connection with the exercise of stock options at Cdn$1.26 per share and 50,000 common shares of no par
value in connection with the exercise of stock options at Cdn$0.84 per share.

Application has been made for these shares to be admitted to AIM and it is expected that they will  be
admitted  on 1 February 2008. Following the admission of the above shares, the Company's total  issued
share capital will be 303,240,481 common shares of no par value each with voting rights.
