    Change Of Name

    AIM Resources Limited ("the Company"") wishes to advise that, as approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on 24
November 2008, the Company has changed its legal name to Blackthorn Resources Limited.

    Due to the regulatory processes of the Australian Stock Exchange, the Company's trading name will remain as AIM Resources Limited until
Thursday 18 December 2008. Until this time, the Company will continue to trade on AIM under the ticker code AIMR and ISIN number
AU0000AIMAZ6.

    The Company's shares will commence trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange under its new name and new symbol "BRL" from 8
am on 18 December 2008. The new ISIN number for the Company's Ordinary Shares listed on AIM will be AU000000BTR5.

    The Company's new ASX codes, BTR - ordinary shares and BTRO - listed options, will also become effective as of 18 December 2008.

    In addition, the Company's website will be changing to www.blackthornresources.com.au on 18 December 2008.
