                      BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES


The Bergesen d.y. Group has today bought 148,500 of its own A-shares for NOK
166.36 per share.

After this purchase The Bergesen d.y. Group owns totally 573,350 of its own
shares, being 501,050 A-shares and 72,300 B-shares.

Excluding own shares the number of outstanding shares is 59,121,706.
