Plus they think PTAB invalidations will somehow save them too. They’ve held out this long and had great success, so there’s no settling now with Netlist and giving them a lifeline. No we’re here for the long haul and hopefully Netlist stops diluting before we see a first payment… in a year or 2 if we’re lucky.

Plus, we have to wait for the resolution of the case 293 appeal (which is sure to come), which will take another 18-24 months (probably) to get through.

Only THEN will the google case start up again. And then we have to get through all the malarkey that Google lawyers will put us through.

The amount on the 912 just in this case is more so trivial in the big picture, IMO.

Add it all up minus ongoing royalty, and we have Micron and Samsung owing Netlist half a billion dollars just up to this point, with more trial to come for both in the future...and then there is Google.

I don't understand how they can set a cap on damages before the trial starts. And why would the cap be set so low when there revenue is so high compared to micron. If I was micron I'd be pissed about the 375 mil verdict they got when Samsung is 3x times the company. A win is a win but this was a bullshit verdict
