whats with this one any ideas

EBAYaim...re SAH.v I responded but was probably too quick on the trigger. I read the financials from 3/08. They are pretty grim but then I just read the MD&A and it's more positive with subsequent sale of property that reduced the a/p by 1.5 million and bank debt to below 200K.

Still think this little guy has a tough uphill road. Financials should improve in qtr ending 6/30 because of high oil prices and especially narrow discounts for heavy oil, which is most of their production.

I still don't think this is a value stock. It might end up being a good turnaround but the recent history has been terrible and an energy company that can't show good cashflow during these record prices is doing something wrong IMHO.

......well it is about 10 cents now.....after looking over the recent financials again and factoring in the changes/mergers/debt reduction/etc.....maybe this beat down oil play can have a new life?......why did it get that recent blip in volume/price?

These guys are going out of business. They owe 2.5 million to creditors plus 336K to the bank. They are being forced to liquidate properties. You will see announcements of the sale of properties to satisfy creditors and the bank within the next couple of months.

When we last talked in 8/07, they had a potential of 400bpd production. They are currently producing 90bpd. Probably a combination of selling production and depletion but either way it's a disaster. They don't have enough cashflow to keep going. I doubt they can finance any drilling so not going to increase production anytime soon either.

The stock has been falling ever since 8/07 and has recently had a small bounce but the financials are in terrible shape.

Production is worth about 40-60,000 per flowing boepd. Figure they have 3.6 to 5.4 million in value in the wells. Might have more if they sell prospective land as well. That would payoff creditors and bank but then they have no income and have to start over. I'm still not a fan and feel like my original assessment was correct, and the stock price says the market agrees. Bobwins

......The volume is the key?.....when there is any volume, you can see a price rise substantially....is this because nobody is selling?.....Sahara Energy has just merged with Mirage energy to bring synergy.....sounds kind of corny; but true?......SAH is currently a 10 cent stock that was 10x that within the past 2 years.....has anything changed?.....Oil/Gas prices have gone higher.....is this good or bad for Sahara......this one is flying under the radar just waiting to soar......look at the past news and the price per share deals....look at the projects....call the company.....and last but not least WATCH FOR VOLUME!!!

.....what I did was went to the website www.marketwire.com .....then I typed Sahara in top right search area.....it showed a release around after market closed yesterday regarding the merger.....hope that helps.

......I just checked at www.marketwire.com and typed in Sahara for search and it looks like there was announcement yesterday.....great to see you here as it was only pretty much myself for the most part.....did you do some research on SAHARA ENERGY.....it has dropped considerably over the past year and yet....they have seasoned management people....properties.....drilling.....etc......Will Sahara Energy go back towards $1.00?.....wouldn't surprise me!
