Luiri Gold-Update Regarding Shareholder Rights Plan

Luiri Gold Limited (TSX VENTURE:LGL)(ASX:LGM) ("Luiri" or the "Company"). The
Company wishes to provide an update to shareholders regarding the status of the
Shareholders Rights Plan (the "Plan") announced on 20 December 2010. 


As previously announced, the Plan is subject to the acceptance and requirements
of the regulatory authorities, including the Australian Securities Exchange and
TSX Venture Exchange. The TSX Venture Exchange has not yet accepted notice of
the Plan for filing and, according to the terms of the Plan, it has not yet
become effective. No rights have been issued to shareholders under the Plan.


The Board is currently liaising with the Australian Securities Exchange and TSX
Venture Exchange and will provide a further update to shareholders once this is
finalised.
