Tim Roof named Mercer’s New York Office Leader

Mercer announced today that Tim Roof, Partner and Senior Client Manager, recently assumed the role of New York Office Leader. In this role, Tim will work closely with the Northeast Market Leadership team to drive the success of the New York office. His main focus will be to strengthen Mercer’s business in the greater New York metro area through existing client retention and growth, new client sales and brand promotion. Mr. Roof will remain based in New York and report to Mary Tinebra, Mercer’s Northeast Market Leader, who had until now served in a dual capacity as New York Office Leader.

Mr. Roof joined Mercer in 2009 as Senior Client Manager and has more than 30 years of experience in the human resources consulting and administration industry. Before his career at Mercer he served as Client Group Leader and Portfolio Executive with Hewitt Associates (now Aon Hewitt) as well as Market Manager, Account Manager and Consultant.

Mr. Roof graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
