MMC Marsh and McLennan Companies Inc

Industry sources have identified NERA Economic Consulting as the contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy's report on liquefied natural gas exports, Reuters reported Monday.

NERA is a unit of Marsh & McLennan Cos. (MMC).

Last week, the Energy Department confirmed that it would publish the analysis by year-end.

NERA said it doesn't disclose the identity of its clients, while the Energy Department declined to name the contractor, Reuters reported.
