In doing some research, I have found that 5G will require huge amounts of optical firer cable to operate properly. Signal are not as strong on 5G as in 4G so optic fiber cable will need to be used to make up for the signal distance. Can you imagine how much cable will be required to connect the entire US? OCC could well be a golden opportunity for investors.

OCC Optical Cable Corp Sets Q2 Record; Swells 30% in Regular Session; Climb Continues in After Hours

Optical Cable Corporation (OCC) is edging higher in early after-hours trade after soaring 30% in the regular session after saying it set a new Q2 sales record. The company reported revenue of $22.1M, soundly beating consensus estimates of $17.2M. Its Q2 EPS was $0.15 a share, up from $0.03 last quarter and a loss of $0.02 a share in the same quarter last year.

Shares touched $4.44 today, close to a year high $4.59.
