Shareholders Approve Name Change to 'Henry Bros. Electronics Inc.', Elect Directors and Appoint Independent Auditors SADDLE BROOK, N.J., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Diversified Security Solutions, Inc. (AMEX:DVS), a turnkey provider of technology-based integrated electronic security solutions announced today results of its annual shareholder meeting, which was held on August 3, 2005. At the annual meeting, shareholders approved an amendment to the Company's Certificate of Incorporation to change the Company's name to Henry Bros. Electronics, Inc. The Company's common stock is expected to begin trading under the new symbol 'HBE' on the American Stock Exchange by August 12, 2005. The Company is not exchanging its existing common stock certificates as a result of its name change. Rather, new stock certificates issued in the future by the Company will reflect its new name. In addition, the Company's Shareholders elected James E. Henry, Irvin F. Witcosky, Brian Reach, Joseph P. Ritorto, Robert L. De Lia Sr. and David Sands to the Board of Directors all of whom except David Sands had been serving on the Company's Board. At the Annual Meeting of the Company's Board of Directors, Mr. Sands, who is an independent director, was elected to the Company's Audit Committee and is serving as its financial expert. Mr. Sands is a Certified Public Account and a partner at the accounting firm of Buchbinder Tunick & Company, LLP, and brings 25 years of experience as a tax professional. Prior to joining the Buchbinder Tunick in 1990, he worked as a CPA at Ernst & Young. Mr. Sands is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs and also serves as Chairman of NYSSCPA's Relations with the Internal Revenue Service Committee. Mr. Sands is an independent director and will serve as the Company's audit committee financial expert. James Henry, Chief Executive Officer of Diversified Security Solutions, stated, "We are pleased to change our name to Henry Bros.
