SANTIAGO, Chile, March 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Masisa (the "Company"), at a board meeting held on March 26, 2008, agreed to propose to the next Ordinary Shareholders' Meeting (hereinafter referred to as the "Meeting") the payment of a final dividend of US$10,941,768. This accounts for 30% of the net distributable income for the period ended December 31, 2007, and amounts to US$36,472,559. The total dividend per share will therefore be US$0.0019305309. It was agreed to propose to the Meeting that the dividend be paid on May 28, 2008. Hence, should such dividend be approved at the mentioned Meeting, those shareholders listed in the Company Shareholders' Registry as of May 22, 2008, shall be entitled to it. Moreover, it shall be proposed that the dividend be paid in Chilean pesos according to the "observed dollar" exchange rate published in the Official Gazette on May 22, 2008.
