            APPOINTMENT OF JULIAN AVERY AS A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


Warner Estate Holdings PLC ("Warner Estate"), the property investment company,
announces the appointment today of Julian Avery LLB to its Board as a
Non-executive Director. Mr Avery is a solicitor and Chief Executive of
Wellington Underwriting plc. Prior to joining Wellington, he was employed in
senior management positions in the investment and international banking
divisions of the Lloyds Bank Group for 20 years. He is also Chairman of Invesco
Perpetual AiM VCT plc, a director of Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited and a
Non-executive director of East Surrey Holdings plc, where he is Chairman of the
Audit Committee.

Philip Warner, Chairman of Warner Estate commented,

corporate experience and knowledge of the City which will be of considerable
benefit to our Board. "
