           WARNER ESTATE NAMES NEW FINANCE DIRECTOR

Warner   Estate  Holdings  PLC,  the  UK  property   investor,
announces  that David Veaser, Finance Director and  Secretary,
is  to retire on 30 April 1998, having reached the age of  60,
after over 39 years with the Group.

Peter  Collins  BSc,  FCA, who is aged  49  and  is  presently
Finance Director and Secretary of Thomas Jourdan plc, a  fully
listed  company,  will be appointed Finance  Director  in  his
place  and  Vinod  Vaghela, who is aged 41  and  is  currently
Financial  Controller and Assistant Secretary  of  the  Group,
will be appointed Secretary, in both cases with effect from  1
May 1998.
