                              PDMR's Shareholding


Mr D J Lanchester, a PDMR and Company Secretary of the Company, has notified the
Company that he has exercised share options over 8,981 Ordinary shares of 5p in
the Company on 1 December 2006 at an option price of 367.5p. The option was
granted on 27 June 2003 and has been exercisable since 27 June 2006, the
performance criteria attached to the grant having been met in full. Mr
Lanchester subsequently sold the 8,981 Ordinary shares of 5p in the Company at
an average price of 846.938p on 1 December 2006.


Following the exercise of share options and sale, Mr Lanchester retains a
holding of 8,054 Ordinary shares of 5p in the Company.
