                          TransEDA PLC ("the Company")


The Company announces that at the Extraordinary General Meeting held this
morning the special resolution to change the name of the Company to Reversus PLC
was duly passed.


As set out in the circular dated 17 October 2003 following the sale of TransEDA
Technology Limited the Company's only tangible asset is approximately #700,000
in cash. The directors consider that the most appropriate strategy for the
Company at this time is to pursue a reverse takeover and a review of potential
targets has been initiated.
