    Directors' shareholdings

    Sheffield United the football, leisure and property company annouces today that on 16th May 2008 Scarborough (UK) Limited, a company
controlled by Kevin McCabe, Chairman of Sheffield United, purchased 18,205,691 ordinary shares in the Company at 10p a share.  Prior to this
acquisition Scarborough (UK) Limited held 95,321,079 ordinary shares in Sheffield United.  

    Following this purchase entities controlled by Kevin McCabe and his family hold 208,042,238 ordinary shares in the Company representing
74.70% of the issued share capital.  

    On 16th May 2008 Michael Dudley, a Director of Sheffield United, sold 13,979,501 shares at 10p and no longer has any interest in the
share capital of Sheffield United.
