Fatality at Styldrift
Shaft Sinkers Holdings plc (LSE:SHFT), the international shaft
sinking and underground construction group, regrets to announce
that an employee was fatally injured at its Styldrift project in
South Africa on Saturday 4 October.
Shaft Sinkers expresses its deepest condolences to the family,
relatives and friends of the deceased worker, Mr. Simon Chuhungo
Xadreque.
Shaft Sinkers has dispatched a team to the site, and a full and
thorough investigation is underway to determine the causes of the
accident.

development of underground infrastructure, used primarily in mining
and hydropower applications.
