Meldex International Plc ("Meldex " or "the Company") 
 
 
Directorate Change and Completion of Disposal of Dexo France Business Unit 
 
 
Cambridge, UK, 28 January, 2009: Meldex International Plc (AIM: MDX), the Board 
of Meldex reports that Mr. Helmut Kerschbaumer and Mr. Klaus Kuehne have 
resigned as directors of the Company and no longer have any executive 
responsibilities effective 27 January 2009. 
 
 
The Company is pleased to report that the disposal of its Dexo France Business 
Unit has been completed and that it has received notification from the French 
Authorities that the transfer of the Marketing Authorisation had been approved 
and that the EUR7m held in Escrow was released on 20 January. 
 
 
The final consideration of EUR1.5m will be received 15 days from the date of the 
release of the Escrow. Funds from the sale of the Dexo France Business Unit have 
and will be used to substantially reduce the Company's bank indebtedness. On 8 
December 2008 the Company's banking facilities were converted from Sterling into 
Euros therefore no windfall arising from movements in exchange rates will be 
realised.
