My experience in the OTC shows that post reverse split prices get heavily discounted within the first few trades.

So a 1:5000 RS that goes from .0005 to 2.50 usually has a wide bid/ask of say 2.00/2.50 because the MM knows shares are available for sale. 

That's my take.
