             Placing of 4,166,667 new Ordinary Shares of 0.5p each



Further to the letter sent to shareholders dated 23rd March 2005, and the
Extraordinary General Meeting held on 18th April, Crystalband plc ("the Company
") is pleased to announce that it has raised approximately #500,000, before
expenses, by way of a placing of 4,166,667 new Ordinary Shares of 0.5p each at
12p per share ("the Placing"). Application has been made for the new Ordinary
Shares to be admitted to trading on Aim and dealings are expected to commence on
26th April. The shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares and the
enlarged issued share capital following the placing will be 26,636,401 Ordinary
Shares.



The proceeds from the Placing will assist the Company in the purchase of a
production plant and to provide associated additional working capital.



During the Placing, the Company identified additional interest in its shares and
accordingly is expecting to undertake a further fundraising of approximately
#250,000, details of which will be announced at a later date.
