Creston plc (the 'Company')


Exercise of share options and transaction in own shares


The Company announces that on 14 September 2006, 27,560 options over ordinary
shares were exercised at an exercise price of 150 pence per ordinary share. The
issue of ordinary shares pursuant to this exercise were satisfied by the issue
of ordinary shares held in treasury.


The Company announces that it purchased 27,560 of its Ordinary Shares of 10p
each on 14 September 2006 at a price of 178.5 pence per ordinary share. The
Company intends to hold these shares in treasury.


Following these transactions, Creston holds 57,951 of its ordinary shares in
treasury and has 54,909,478 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury
shares).
