                              Directors' Dealing

The Company was informed that DH Elgie, Chief executive, today purchased 17,000
ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 150 pence per share to be held in
his self invested pension fund. Following this transaction, Mr. Elgie now has a
beneficial interest in 988,301 ordinary shares representing 2.83 per cent. of
the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
