The Company was informed today that Dr Analisa Sartori, an associate of R A J
Webb, acquired today in the market 1,100,000 Ordinary shares of 5p each, 2.7%
of the issued share capital of the Company, at a price of 37p.

The total number of Ordinary shares in which R A J Webb is interested or
deemed to be interested is 23,640,909, equivalent to 58.97% of which
14,700,000 shares, 36.67% of the issued share capital, are held by family
trusts.
