Resignation of Directors

Further to the announcement on 31 October 2005 that the offer for Basepoint by
ACG Rented Properties plc ("ACG") had been declared unconditional in all
respects, the Company announces that its non-executive directors, The Viscount
Lifford and Mr Robert Court, today resigned with immediate effect, as
anticipated in the offer document posted to shareholders.

The Board of Basepoint would like to thank The Viscount Lifford and Mr Court for
their support and contribution to the development of the Company.
