Our cement production and despatches figures for the month of February 2007, are
as follows:



February 2007
Cement production                               1.45 million tonnes
Cement despatches                               1.42 million tonnes



February 2006
Cement production                               1.54 million tonnes
Cement despatches                               1.53 million tonnes

Cement production                                3.09 million tonnes
Cement despatches                                3.07million tonnes



January - February  2006
Cement production                                3.19 million tonnes
Cement despatches                                3.18 million tonnes





In February 2007 production and despatches were affected to some extent due to
planned stoppages on account of certain technical modifications carried out at
three of our plants. We expect to make up this shortfall in coming months.
