WestpacTrust Securities NZ Limited Programme for the Issuance of Debt
Instruments ("EMTN Programme")

Westpac Banking Corporation has given notice of the redemption in full of its
callable notes issued off its EMTN Programme for the above-referenced
instruments.

The due date for redemption is 20 February 2008, subject to adjustment in
accordance with the Modified Following Business Day Convention.
