Direct Line Insurance Group plc: Directorate Changes

Direct Line Insurance Group plc ("Direct Line Group" or the "Company") today confirms that Mike Biggs has been formally appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Direct Line Group, effective 27 April 2012.

In addition, Direct Line Group announces that Bruce Van Saun, Group Finance Director of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, also with effect from 27 April 2012.
