Notice of equity issuance and publication of Annual Results presentation

The Company has today published an Annual Results presentation on its website at:

https://www.esuregroup.com/investors/results-presentations/

The Company also confirms that certain private equity funds advised by Bain Capital Private Equity, LP and its affiliates (the "Bain Capital Funds") have given a commitment to provide GBP30million of additional equity capital to support the Company's continuing development and completion of its transformation programme. The capital will be provided through the issuance of new ordinary shares by the Company with the transaction expected to complete during Quarter 2 2023.

As reported in its Financial Year 2022 (FY22) Annual Report and Accounts, published on 31 March 2023, esure continues to make significant progress against its strategy of creating the UK's leading digital personal lines insurer. A number of important milestones were achieved in FY22, including the launch of a new data-driven technology platform underpinning the end to end customer journey and the successful deployment of esure's new Flex product. This progress has already started to show signs of driving improvements in operational efficiency and effectiveness and lays the foundation for further developments in the years ahead. esure and Bain are excited about the long-term potential of the Company's strategy to significantly enhance customer experience, lower unit cost and drive future growth and returns.
